Adding Recipes to this group

  There have been recent changes here at GR and we no longer can add any recipe to a group. It has all but put a stop to new recipes being added to any group, as now the only person who can do that is the owner (submitter) of a recipe. Plus, they have to be a member of the group which the recipe is to be added. I am trying to change this system by asking the site owner and spreading the word in hopes others will join the cause. I have hopes it will happen eventually.
  
  What I’m getting at is that I have started doing two things to hold us over (so to speak) until we can again freely post to groups.
  1) I have started a new discussion/thread in certain groups where recipes can be logged that would be appropriate for said group. Then later, hopefully, we can add them to the group officially.
  AND
  2) Occasionally, I have posted this message on appropriate recipe’s comments section in hopes that the owner will add it to said group.
  
  “Please consider adding this to the Retro Recipes group. You are the only one that can do that since it is your recipe. You'll have to join the group but you can always leave it after you add this dish, tia.”
  
  Therefore, if Luisa likes my idea, I will start adding recipes to this thread that I feel should belong to this group.
