Sometimes it is nice to have someone else cook. What are your favorite spots around town to get out of the kitchen and grab a bite?

I'm not living in Seattle yet but have been there twice in the last 5 months due to my best friends having moved there recently, and have found some very memorable places to eat. My favorites thus far are Salumi, Maltby's, and I so very much want to experience Ipanema (the Brazilian drinks were out of this world).

Great, I have not eaten at any of those places yet, I will check them out for sure.

I just moved to Seattle back in November so I am still fairly new to the city. I tend to stick around the Downtown/Belltown area (live in Belltown).

Maltby's is in Maltby, WA - a bit off your beaten path. Ipanema is a couple blocks down from Pike's Market and Salumi is at 309 Third Ave South.

Lee's Asian in West Seattle is outstanding. It's just a little restaurant with awesome pan-asian food. I believe the chef used to cook at Wild Ginger.

And the Wayward Coffeehouse in Greenwood - a wonderful place, comfortable for hanging out, free wireless, all sorts of perks. (Heh.) ;)
