First successful trade!!!

I thought I would let everyone know, me and Angelina traded our first items. I sent her some baklava and she sent me some gingerbread biscotti. We both recieved shipped items and tasted them. The gingerbread biscotti is sooo delicious! Definitely has a home-made gingerbread taste! My kids love it too! Thanks Angelina, and thank you, Lillian, for making this happen!

That is so cool! I'm glad it worked out!

    Okay...who's doing the next trade?

Hint...to Trigger...I would love some of your herb infused olive oil, if you would like something of mine! If not, I totally understand! I'm tough...I can take it! :)

    Hi everyone!

I just got done working on the kitchen this evening (drywalling the ceiling was tonight's activity) and I thought I would say my food trade with Juels was totally successful! The baklava was absolutely to die for and fulfilled all of my cravings for homemade baklava! I have eaten many baklavas and had my roomate, another foodie, taste it and we both agreed it was the best baklava we have ever had! I highly recommend her baklava for anyone interested.

Thanks Juels and thank you Lillian for bringing together this group!

Ok, Laurieg...this weekend I am going to go down in what's left of my pantry (kitchen overflow until I get some cabinet space) and find your pickeled green tomatoes! I'll message you for details.

My hubby tasted some gingerbread biscotti last night and said it tasted like a whole wheat fruit cake with ginger. All the things he adors! You could just see him savoring every bite! LOL
I guesse I should post the baklave recipe. I've been making it for years. The basic recipe I found in an old Lebanese cookbook that I tweaked to my liking.

    You are both very welcome!;)

Baklava's are sooo good...but I can feel my arteries clogging just thinking about it!

And those biscotti sound lovely also! Are they soft or crunchy biscotti?

Please post any recipes in the group that you have traded or would like to trade!
