Dip or stuff?

Do you stuff yours, or do you prefer to dip?

We are a family of dippers...love artichokes cold with vinaigrette or hot with hollandaise.

Will not turn up our noses at artichokes in salad, pastas or with chicken. We don't choke on artichokes!! Cracking myself up this morning. I need some more coffee. Hugs, ya'll.

I actually prefer not to stuff or dip, but them in a dip! I hope that makes sense. I think I need some coffee too! Also love them in appetizers, and like you, in salads and pastas. Do wish these guys were a little cheaper, so we could enjoy them more often!

I introduced my hubby to artichokes when we were first married...he had never had them. My mother always stuffs them with a bread crumb/evoo stuffing. Hubby decided that he likes them dipped in mayo. I love them any way, although I think that my mother's stuffing overpowers the taste of the artichoke.
One more silly thing. When I was little, my brother told me that the artichoke heart was a real heart, so I refused to try it until I was much older.

rml your brother wanted those artichokes all to himself.

I like artichokes steamed before I use them in a recipe.
I use them mostly in Italian style meals with pasta and sundried tomatoes, that sort of thing.

I do like dipe at parties with spinach added however I prefer fresh made recipes to store bought.
