I feel he was suffering terribly and in a lot of pain and unfortunately his untimely death came too soon..like his song. Anyway, the day will pass but living here and going out in this town today everyone was talking and I realize that I, in my own way, am grieving the loss....I just passed the Bevery Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills where I saw the black rolce royce and other limo......
Anway, this day shall pass but if anyone liked his music please do join....and any thoughts....

I am a product of the late 60's and grew up with the music of the Jacksons. I even watched The Jacksons 5 cartoon that used to come on TV. I have a lot of Mike's music after he left the group to go solo,,, Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous and I even have some old Jackson 5 cassettes and LP's. When I first heard that he had passed, I thought it was a joke or another mean attack against Mike but once I realized that it was no joke, I cried a bit. I've been listening to his music pretty much non-stop ever since. My sisters and I then reminisced about how we used to make up dance routines to the Jackson 5's songs when we were little girls and perform those routines for our parents and their friends.

I didnt try to get tickets to the Memorial as I knew that I couldnt come to L.A. but I sure wished that I could have gone to see the mass out pouring of Love for Mike and to pay my respects. I knew that Mike was loved around the world but I was truly touched to see the masses in NY, people in Russia trowing up balloons and people as remote as in Lebanon watching the Memorial on thier laptops. He was a true Icon for sure. Watching the Memorial yesterday, I teared up a few times. First when Brook Shields spoke about their relationship growing up together and how real of a person he was,,, when Jermaine sang Smile while fighting back his tears,,,, when Usher sang Gone Too Soon, his voice cracking up a bit and finally when little Paris got up there and praised her Daddy for being the Best Dad ever and how she loved him so,, I was no more good at that point,, I couldnt stop crying as I could feel her pain.

Mike, you will be Missed!!! but your music will live on Forever!!!!!!!
