Hey, since I just joined, I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Snowpea. I live in Montreal, Canada, where there is a great variety of foods from all over the world to be had. Me and my guy are into healthy eating, low fat and mostly vegetarian (with the odd fish or seafood thrown in). I know it sounds boring, but it's not!

We avoid most processed foods at home, so this means lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and basic grains, legumes, and so forth. I collect cookbooks and I enjoy perusing cookery sites to glean inspiration. These days, Madhur Jaffrey's World Vegetarian is seeing a lot of use.

Hi, I'm Stacey, a health-conscious foodie from Alaska. Like most of the people who've already introduced themselves, I'm big on preparing foods from scratch -- the most processed food you'll find in my kitchen is the occasional can of organic no-sodium-added beans. I love experimenting with different grains and cooking methods and I have no idea how I would cook without my herb garden. I look forward to seeing what all you guys cook up!
