conner909 2 months ago said: RE: Sunday, November 1st 'morning everyone!
Here's hoping Jake and Mason are better today! Poor kids! Well for the 8th year, I have bought candy for Halloween and no one ....not one child has come to the door. Could it be 'cause I live in an old folks' community/ LOL!
Speaking of 'LOL' Tink is not feeling well and is having some tests taken as we speak. Hope to know more later today.
Saturday (yesterday) (but really today...ha!) my girlfriend and I went to the movies and saw "This is it" the Michael Jackson movie. I am not a Michael Jackson fan, but have to say that the movie was great...mostly his rehearsal numbers for his new show. I don't know what rock I crawled out from under, but I had no idea just how "hands-on" he was and didn't realize that he wrote so much of his own music. I was very impressed. Nothing about his personal life. Lunch was at a lovely Mexican restaurant..check out FB for a picture.
Pleclare, has your daughter rested up yet from her trip? Where's the truck?? LOL! Patti, I hope you have requested cool weather for me...the trip is getting closer every day!
Verna, I'm so sorry you are having so much difficulty these days! I hope things start to look up for you!
Peeta, thanks for the reminder to turn back the clocks...love that extra hour!
pat2me, what's new with you?
Michael, kimmer, Ambus, Ronny et al where are you!
Henrie, are you still playing around with Windows 7? It's received good reviews, do you think it is easy? We're waiting to get your critique!
More later.... Michele
conner909 2 months ago said: Tink Tink has been having severe neck pain , headaches etc. for the past week and today she fainted for approx. 5 seconds while going 60 mph .and it's a miracle that she was still driving in a straight line! She is in the e.r. and they have taken a brain scan and now they are going to do an MRA of the brain and neck to test for aneurisms, head bleeding or clots. We are talking on the phone while she is waiting for the results of the first brain scan. She is allergic to the dye that they are going to inject so they have to premedicate her and she is scared but still in good humor. Please keep her in your prayers...she would like you all to come hold her hand since she is all alone! Tink says she loves you all and either she or I will keep you posted.

victoriaregina 2 months ago said: RE: Sunday, November 1st Hi peeta and conner.
I am so sorry to hear about TINK and thanks for the update. Being alone and scared must be so hard. I cannot take that dye either. I get a rash that looks like a spotted leopard. I hope they take care of her and of course many many prayers.
Hope the little ones are getting better.
I am exhausted and hope to sleep late but save a Bloody Mary for me please and thank you.
pat2me 2 months ago said: RE: Sunday, November 1st wow....November already....unbelievable!!!
Michele, you give Tink out love and tell her prayers are on the way. I'm so glad she wasn't hurt while driving, she's gotta be scared to death. Please give her a big hug!!!
Vena, sorry you're not on FB anymore......can't ya go on when no oe else is around? Hope jake is holding his own until they figure out what is going on with him....poor baby.
Praying for some better news about Mason too.
Peeta.....I turned my clocks back this morning.........I went to a Halloween party at a local club last night. Friends of John and mine that have a band invited me....even paid for my ticket, which was very sweet........and I so enjoy hearing live music. I hadn't heard them for quite a while and they have definitely been practicing a lot. I love their name....Midlife Crysis, they had gotten together again after many years....I think it's perfect!
Our Trick or Treaters were more sparse than years past which surprised me, but there were sure a lot of cute ones and it was so balmy they weren't freezing for a change. One little peanut of a girl (about 2 or so, I guess) asked if she could pet my dog......I told her "I don't have a dog".....then she says...."Can I pet your cat?"......Her parents said she'd been asking the same thing at all the houses....too cute!
It looks like we're going to have a mostly sunny week so I'm planning on finishing the outside work except for the leaves.......not raking until they're ALL on the ground.
Pleclare, glad Jeanne got home safely....did you move the truck from the middle of the road?
Henrie....we are awaiting your critique of Win7....I've heard both good and bad!
Have a good day everyone!!!
pleclare 2 months ago said: RE: Sunday, November 1st Good MorningAll!

pleclare, loved the photo of that nice piece of parking!
Pat, wise move re the leaves... our trees still have a long way to go before the leaves are all off... which means I'll likely end up sweeping in a December day almost in darkness...

Good Morning everyone,
Typed all long message here and even though it said it was posted it wasn't, I had to sign back in again. This will be an attempt to type it again.
Sorry to hear Tink isn't doing well. Give her my best and tell her I'm thinking about her as she goes through all her tests. Hope they don't find anything seriously wrong with her. Michele let her know we're all praying for her, keep us updated on how she's doing. Bless her heart.
Hope Mason and Jake are improving. It's such a worry to have our loved one's under the weather. Prayers for both of them and their families.
Verna, if you want to talk, give me a call, as you know when I lost my address book - I was able to recover all my contacts by going into gmail which I hadn't cleared my mailbox, thank goodness, but phone numbers that was in my address book, are gone. So anyone that wants to share their phone numbers with me again, drop me an email and let me know what they are ;0)
Okay - Windows 7 - Yes, I do like it, it has a lot of really nice features. As you all most likely know by now, especially since I fought getting a new computer for so long before giving in, I DO NOT LIKE CHANGE! I have to say that changing from Windows XP to Windows 7 has been a very easy experience. So I would say if your thinking of making the change, go for it, - anyone that has any questions before trying it, just ask me, if I can't give you an answer I can easily get it for you as my husband has been using it from day one and could hardly wait for it to be released for purchase. Pat, if you tell me what the pros and cons you heard about it are, I can respond to those also.
Hope everyone has a good Sunday.
hugs and prayers for all, special one's for those most in need of them.
