I am Jewish with roots in Eastern Europe, (Poland, Lithuania, Russia). I have a few recipes from there but most of my "cultural" recipes are Israeli and middle Eastern. Well, I'm sure you can guess from that intro where I'm from. My Mother and her family were Irish and my Father's family were from Norway. My great-grandfather on my Mother's side was Jewish but the Christian faith was kept within the family. My husband and his sister were born in Derbyshire, England but his parents were from Poland. I have a multi-cultural background and recipe collection from ancestors and I absolutely love it that way. Take care and great group idea!
