Gotta try this - we don't find grits very often around this part of the country, but I've tried them when we've visited the southern states. I especially love the cheesey ones, so I know this recipe will be perfect...thanks!

I live in Canada and we don't have grits at all
:-( My second home is SC and I'm wondering if they'll allow me to bring grits over the border. I don't usually bring food because of the strict border crossing regulations now. I'm wondering if I used something like Semolina(Cream of Wheat) or finely ground cornmeal, if that would work??? The recipe looks amazing!!! I happen to be a "Grits" lover!!!

I like grits....this recipe sounds really tasty! :) Thanks! :) Have you ever tried "fried mush"----made with corn meal? My dad used to make that for us....it's good, too! :) Have a great day!
