How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl in order listed. Blend well, then beat with electric mixer for 2 minutes at medium speed. Pour into a greased and floured, 12-cup bundt pan or a 10-inch tube pan and bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Let cool in pan 20 to 25 minutes. Invert on serving plate and pour glaze over warm cake.
  • Harvey Wallbanger Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange or lemon juice(lemon preferred)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of Galliano Liqueur
  • Blend all ingredients together well and pour of the warm cake. This cake freezes well.

    It's been a long time since I've eaten but I remember my dear mother made this several times. I remember it as being very good and moist. Thank you so much for sharing. I think I have the recipe but I will save this just in case. Thanks for the sweet memory! Peg
