Toasted Almond Truffles

- 1/2 cup evaporated milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 pkg (11.5 oz) chocolate morsels shopping list
- 1/2 to 1 tsp almond extract shopping list
- 1 cup finely chopped almonds (that have been toasted) shopping list
How to make it
- Combine evaporated milk and sugar in a sauce pan.
- Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a full rolling boil.
- Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in morsels and extract until morsels are melted and mixture is smooth.
- Chill for 45 minutes.
- Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in chopped almonds.
- Chill until ready to serve.
