How to make it

  • Cut cold margarine into flour with pastry blender or in food processor until you have crumbs the size of peas.
  • Stir in cold milk until mixture forms a ball.
  • With hands, form dough into a flattened circle and wrap in plastic wrap.
  • Chill in fridge for 1/2 an hour.
  • Roll out on lightly floured surface.
  • Doulble recipe for two crust pie.

    That's it! Seriously!! OK so then I have a question. I've gone whole wheat flour. I tend to end up going half white half wheat because clearly wheat has different properties than the white. HOW do I compensate for this!???

    I'm gonna try this! My mama's crust recipe worked for her but I always have a hard time. The pie in my avatar took me forever to do :-/

    i made this a few minutes back and turned out to be awesome. i used equal proportions of corn flour and wheat flour. it was crisp and nice. thanks for it :D
