I found this recipe in Rachael Ray's magazine a couple of years ago. They are very simple and delicious.

These are just so good for being so easy. Don't think twice about trying this recipe. It is a winner! But since I've made them so many times, I do suggest alterations and I've posted them there.

Use white sugar and when heating, heat just until the butter is melted. Do not mix in the Mt. Dew.
Now pour that mixture over the rolls.
Then pour the Mt. Dew in between the rolls.
Sprinkle the rolls with a little more cinnamon.
Do not cover with foil. (This makes a perfect balance between a little crispy sugary top with the dumpling texture for the rest.)

I forgot to add that I have used lemonade, 7UP and even Orange Crush instead of Mt. Dew and each one was perfect. I used the lemonade when I didn't have Granny Smith Apples which I think are just the perfect apples for this recipe.
