How to make it

  • Mix all of the ingredients together in a small bowl, batter will be thick
  • Drop by tablespoonfuls into oil at medium heat on stovetop
  • Fry until puffy and golden brown, turning only once...Scrumptious!
  • Serve hot

    Hi, Valerie! They would be good with syrup if they were a lighter consistency (add more liquid), but as these are rather thick, they are better as a corm meal muffin wannabe. We eat them as a bread replacement at lunch or dinner meals.
