Ingredients

How to make it

  • Place several layers of phyllo dough on bottom of 9 x 15 inch buttered baking dish. lightly butter each sheet.
  • Mix potatoes and onions together and place a layer on top of dough.
  • salt and pepper
  • Crumble sausage on top of potatoes
  • repeat phyllo dough and butter layer
  • repeat potatoes and sausage
  • salt and pepper
  • repeat phyllo and butter
  • add remaining potatoes and onions
  • salt and pepper
  • add remaining sausage.
  • Top with remaining phylo dough and butter.
  • Score top of dough in diamonds.
  • Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
  • This is so delicious. I love to serve brocoli with lemon butter with this dish.
  • Happy eating.

    Was thinking just like asheats...par boiling the potatoes first and cooking the sausage? Great brunch recipe. Thanks!

    I just have 2 quick questions? Do you par-cook the potatoes first? Is the sausage cooked first as well?

    Sounds Over-the-Top Gooood!! thanks for posting! To save some fat calories, may use the filo mini shells for little hors d'oeuvres. May pull it together tonite for my Bills Fan Man!!
