Bryars Bottom Round Steak Recipe
Easy recipe for a good home cooked meal. You can alter the seasonings to your taste and if you prefer, you can use milk in place of the water in the recipe. Enjoy.

Ingredients
  • 3 lbs bottom round steak
  • 1 medium white onion
  • 3 medium red potatoes
  • 4 large carrots
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom with roasted garlic soup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • salt to taste

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Cut the round steak into bite sized pieces.
  3. Warm the oil in a medium skillet, add the round steak and brown. 3-4 minutes.
  4. After browning, add round steak to a glass casserole baking dish.
  5. Wash and cut the potatoes, carrots and celery into bite sized pieces.
  6. Coarsely chop the onion.
  7. Add all the vegetables to the meat in the casserole dish.
  8. Sprinkle seasonings on top.
  9. Pour the soup over everything using the 1/4 cup water to get all the soup out of the cans and pour that over the dish as well.
  10. Place in oven and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
  11. Serve over cooked wide egg noodles or white rice.
