Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • In a large mixing bowl add the dressing & spices along with the onion, worcestershire sauce & any other tasty tidbits you may like in your dressing .Remember different taste for everybody so make this your creation!
  • The final step is adding the liquid. Start with just enough water to bring the mix together. You are looking for a moist but not fluid mixture. The most important thing to remember is the dryer the mix, the stiffer the dressing will be after baking. I like a moist dressing so I use a little more water. A chicken broth or stock can be used instead of plain water & believe me, it really takes it up a few notches
  • Finally, in a roaster pan that has been prebuttered, align six seasoned chops, dole the dressing on top, NO need to spread it, it will spread itself!
  • Put the lid back on, put it in your oven for about 50 minutes, check the chops with a thermometer, they should be at least 165 degrees, let them set about 10 minutes & serve
  • If you'd like a slight browning on top, just take the lid off at about 150 degrees & keep an eye on your final temperature. The more you make this dish, the quicker it becomes & you'll find yourself trying new variations, good baking
