Pork Chops Voodoo

- Voodoo chops: shopping list
- (2) 2 inch thick cut pork chops complete with bone shopping list
- lots of Italian bread crumbs shopping list
- (2) large eggs shopping list
- (2) cups half and half shopping list
- salt and peppa / few dashes of cajun seasoning use yo judgement shopping list
- reduction sauce: shopping list
- (3) tsp minced garlic shopping list
- 4 tbsp worstershire sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup of simple syrip shopping list
- 2 bottles of any dark lager i use abita turbodog... also try this with Coke and dr. pepper (if Coke or dr.pepper is used instead of beer 86 the simple syrip) shopping list
- 1/4 green, 1/4 red & 1/4 yellow minced bell pepper mostly for color shopping list
- 1/4 cup of simple syrip shopping list
How to make it
- About an hour before you prep the chops you want to start on the reduction sauce
- now take ingredients listed above and place them into an uncovered pot on hi for about an hour stirring occasionally after an hour turn to simmer and continue to stir do this for 5 min and let cool sauce should be thick enough in texture
- v. chops
- with the exception of the two huge and well seasoned chops combine in a large bowl combine bread crumbs with additional seasoning
- in a separate bow scramble the two eggs and half n half
- soak pork chops in half and half generously
- then coat generously in bread crumbs trying not to cover the bone at the end (only for presentation)
- then back in half and half and repeat until chops ar about a half ince thicker due to amount of bread crumbs
- on stovetop or in deep fryer youll then proceed to fry chops at no less than 400 degrees so be sure that oil is thew right temp before dropping them in
- fry for 5 min or untin golden brown or a little darker
- then after you take chops out of the deep fryer place in an ove safe dish coated with oil or pam and cover with aluminum foil
- bake @ 425 for about 30 - 35 min
- drown with reduction sauce
- i like this dish served with pasta alfredo
