Noodles and Hatch Pasta Sauce

- 1 hatch chili pepper, julienned shopping list
- 3 scallions, chopped shopping list
- 1 beef bullion cube dissolved in 1/2 cup hot water shopping list
- 1 cup canned chopped stewed tomatoes (with as little juice as possible) shopping list
- black pepper shopping list
- Cooked whole wheat pasta of your choice shopping list
How to make it
- Heat the hatch peppers on high heat in a dry, ungreased saute pan for a few minutes
- Add scallions and keep turning until char marks begin on peppers and onions
- Add broth and tomatoes and cook until all is hot but no more
- Divide pasta on plates and immediately top with sauce
