this is soo good. it makes a nice thick gravy on it own. a little salty, though, so I cut back on the ranch dressing. after cooking, cover with foil and let rest for about 10 mn.

This makes a wonderful roast. I fix mine like this all the time. I also had carrots, potatos, and onions around it to cook in the gravy.

I'M GOING TO TRY THIS BECAUSE EVERYONE GAVE GOOD COMMENTS THOUGH ITALIAN DRESSING AND RANCH DRESSING MIXED WITH GRAVY DOESN'T QUITE SOUND APPEALING. I'M SURE IT'S GOOD. I'LL LET YOU KNOW IF I LIKE IT.

Very similar to Perfect Pressure Cooker Pot Roast on allrecipes. It is real good, a little on the salty side though. I used the pressure cooker to make mine.

I don't do much crock-pot cooking. This sounds like just the right recipe to get back on track. Thanks.
