How to make it

  • Combine sugar and milk in a heavy bottomed pot. Bring to a rolling boil for nine minutes. Remove from fire; add the 3 packages of chocolate chips, the marshmallow creme and butter. Beat together; add the chopped nuts and the vanilla. Pour in a buttered pan and place in the freezer for one hour. Cut in squares and return to freezer.

    What did I do wrong? This came out as one gooeeeeeyy mess. Followed the directions to a science; place in a well buttered dish and into the freezer for a hour, then 2 hours then OVERNITE. Still a mess. I love Gold Bricks but this receipe is a mess. Also it serves a hellva lot more than 4 people. HELP!
