Ingredients
- Steen's pecan Pie shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 cup pecans shopping list
- 1 tbsp cornstarch shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups Steen's Pure cane syrup shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- Unbaked pastry for 1 medium sized pie shopping list
How to make it
- Melt the butter, add flour and cornstarch and stir until smooth. Then add syrup and sugar and boil 3 minutes. Cool. Add beaten eggs, nuts and vanilla, blending well. Pour into pan lined with unbaked pastry. Bake in hot oven at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 and cook 30 to 35 minutes longer,

Gosh, I missed this one when you first posted it...although I grew up on pecan pie, I've never had one made with Steen's...but I do love the good ol' Steen's syrup; great memories, thanks!
