Lamb Curry

- lamb shoulder or any cheap cut of lamb diced shopping list
- 2 large onions shopping list
- 4-5 garlic cloves+small cube of ginger shopping list
- 1 green chilli shopping list
- 1 tsp chilli powder shopping list
- 1 tsp cumin powder shopping list
- 1 tsp tumeric powder shopping list
- 1 tsp ground coriander shopping list
- 3 cardamon pods shopping list
- 1 tsp paprika shopping list
- 1 can 400g tomatoes shopping list
- water shopping list
- salt shopping list
- chopped coriander to garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Add 2 tbl spoons of veg oil add chopped onions and garlic and ginger to large pan and cook on medium heat for 10-15 mins.
- add chilli powder,cumin,tumeric,ground coriander,cardamon pods,paprika stir well make sure it doesnt stick !!!
- add lamb make sure its well coated in the spices.
- add tomatoes fill the can 3 quarters full of water and add to the pot.
- cook this curry for atleast 2 hrs. if it starts to go dry add more water
- when the sauce is well reduced add garam massala and chopped green chilli
- gook for 5 more mins and serve your curry
- season well during and after cooking!!!
- garnish with chopped coriander
