Using leftover chicken makes this dish quick & simple. Other options -- add in shrimp or thin slices of cooked pork, or any veggies of choice, i.e. snow peas, carrots, etc.

Thank you, california cook! Right now am eating a soup from a pkg created in Korea called "HooRooRook" no msg, and non-fried! It is a noodle soup, with a fish flavor(pollack and seaweed). I did not open the last packet, probably has oil. Instead, I spooned a a little of the bean soup I had defrosted and some of my coleslaw mix I keep on hand, and it is quite good. The best part is NO MSG and Non-Fried.
