How to make it

  • Wash the romaine lettace leaves and lay on paper towels to dry.Tear the leaves into bite- sized pieces and place in the salad bowl.
  • Remove the outer leaves from the iceberg lettace.On a cutting board, cut the lettace in half.Cut out the heart in the center and discard.Lay the lettace halves flat side down on the cutting board and slice into 1/4 inch strips.Place in a colander to wash.Dry thoroughly.Add to the salad bowl and toss.
  • Add the salad dressing to the salad bowl.Toss the salad greens with the dressing until coated.
  • Arrange the salad on serving plates.Top each serving with 2 tablespoons of croutons.Serve immediately.
