Ingredients

How to make it

  • 1. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar in mixing bowl with an electric mixer until soft peaks form (tips bend over). Gradually add sugar, beating at high speed until stiff peaks form. Fold in flour and nuts.
  • 2. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto a parchment-paper-lined cookie sheet. Bake in a 400 degree F oven for 5 to 7 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 1 to 2 minutes; press a piece of candied fruit into the top of each cookie. Remove and cool on wire rack.
  • Makes about 40 cookies.

Very festive and they sound light - not heavy like some cookies. Will definitely be trying this one Peeta.
