Ingredients

16 ounces of Elbow macaroni

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

16 ounces of Velveeta type cheese, cut into 1 inch blocks for easy melting

1/2 cup milk

tomatoes, sliced or diced, optional

Directions

Bring a large pot of water to boil.

Add the onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.

Add the olive oil.

Add the macaroni!

Cook until desired tenderness.

We like our noodles just a touch firm. A friend likes theirs soggy! YUCK!!

Drain and rinse.

In the same pan put the cheese and the milk, stirring constantly until melted.

When melted put hte cooked macaroni into the pan.

Mix together well!!!

We put tomatoes on the side of this most of the time. That is just our personal preference.

We also tend to serve this with hot dogs, chicken nuggets, crisply cooked bacon, or hamburgers!!

Serve and enjoy!

He stood over me the whole time I made this, this morning. Yes morning, he woke up wanting this! He talked through the whole event. Now he just keeps eating and saying it is the best macaroni and cheese he has ever made!!! he is so darn cute. 10.23.09
