One-Pot Spaghetti And Sausage

- 3/4 pound fully-cooked seasoned sausage, cut into 1/4-inch slices (see Tip) shopping list
- 1 large onion, chopped shopping list
- 2 ribs celery, diced (about 3/4 cup) shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
- 1/3 cup natural rice vinegar shopping list
- 1 (14-ounce) can stewed tomatoes with italian seasoning shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups water shopping list
- 1/2 pound dry spaghetti shopping list
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the sausage, onion, celery, and pepper and sauté until sausage is browned; drain.
- 2. Add the rice vinegar to the saucepan and cook over medium-high heat until the liquid is absorbed.
- 3. Stir in the tomatoes and water, and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium; add the spaghetti, cover, and simmer for 12 minutes, until the spaghetti is just tender, stirring occasionally. Top with fresh basil and serve.
