Tangy Homemade Applesauce

- 3 ea granny smith apples, peeled, cored, and finely chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup chicken broth shopping list
- 1/2 tb apple cider vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 tb balsamic vinegar shopping list
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin shopping list
- 1/4 tsp ground coriander shopping list
- 2 tb pure maple syrup shopping list
- salt and cayenne pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Combine the apples, chicken broth, vinegars, cumin, and coriander in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, about 15 minutes or until the apples are mushy. Remove from the heat and stir in the syrup, salt, and cayenne to taste.
- Let cool to room temperature before serving.
