Ingredients
  • Homemade Rock and Rye:
  • 1 Ltr Jim Beam Rye Whiskey
  • 3 oz Jamaican Rum
  • 1 Pound Rock Candy
  • 12 Whole Cloves
  • 2 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1 Orange,quartered
  • 1 Lemon,quartered
  • Put in jar and let set a fortnight.

  • 1 Gallon Apple Cider
  • 1/2 Cup Clover Honey
  • 5 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 30 Cloves
  • 1/2 Vanilla Bean,crushed

Directions
  1. Break the cinnamon sticks and cloves and vanilla bean.
  2. Make a mirpoix bag with the spices.
  3. In large pan combine cider,honey,and the bag,bring to a boil and let cool for at least 4 hours.
  4. Remove bag and reheat when ready to serve,adding the rock and rye at the last moment.
  5. ~Serve in heated mugs......CHEERS!! NO MORE TEARS!!!~
