Ingredients
  • 2 large crusty rolls
  • softened butter
  • 1 small tomato
  • 1 slice of deli ham chopped
  • 1 tsp dill
  • 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • salt & pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Cut the top off of each roll.
  2. Pull out and discard most of the soft bread inside.
  3. Spread the insides of the rolls with butter.
  4. Place on a microwaveable plate.
  5. Divide tomato and ham between the 2 rolls.
  6. Add a sprinkling of dill to each roll and then the cheese (1/4 cup per roll).
  7. Don't pack down as you want the egg mixture to run through it.
  8. Beat the egg with the milk and salt and pepper.
  9. Carefully pour into the rolls.
  10. Microwave on med-high for about 5 minutes.
  11. Let stand for 3 minutes to complete cooking and setting.
