From diannehocut 14 years agoIngredients
- 1/2 cup dry milk shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic NOTE! Not too much garlic for your pet! shopping list
- 1 teaspoon parsley shopping list
- 6 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 1 small can potted beef shopping list
- 1/2 cup beef broth shopping list
- 1/2 cup rye flour shopping list
- 1 cup whole wheat flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup rice flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup cracked wheat shopping list
- Glaze: 1 egg and beef broth shopping list
How to make it
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except the glaze mixture. I use my Kitchen Aid
- Mix well and add more flour of your choice,if needed, to form a stiff dough
- Transfer to a floured surface and knead for about 2 minutes
- Roll out to desired thickness
- Cut into your favorite shape ( roll out and use the scraps, too) and bake at 325 for 25 minutes, remove from oven and brush with glaze mixture, return to oven and bake another 25 minutes
- Your cooking time varies depending on how thick the treat is
- Use less cooking time for thinly sliced treats
- Amount produced varies on thickness, too
- Package in any cute sack or seal a couple of treats in a pretty cellophane bag if you have a food sealer!

Dianne:
This is great! I make these each year for my 2 Jack Russell terriers plus the neighbors Lab. My terriers are allergic to wheat so I have to make them with soy flour. These are just precious and I'm sure your Dash enjoys them!valinkenmore in Malott loved it
