Mac And Cheese With Peas

Ok I know this is a cheat recipe, but we love it and its great in a hurry!
Ingredients
- 3 small boxes of your favorite mac and cheese, we vary this A LOT shopping list
- 1 large can of peas, drained, save the liquid in the freezer for future soups shopping list
- 1 large red onion, chopped and caramelized shopping list
- 1 large can of tuna or chicken, drained and saved for future soup, optional shopping list
- seasoning to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Make the mac and cheese as you like it. I cook the noodles in my seasoned water for best flavor.
- Toss in the onions, peas , and tuna or chicken, if using...
- Season it to taste.
- Mix well.
- Serve with a spinach strawberry salad and some tea!

- You really could make homemade mac and cheese for this if you have the time. I do!!!
