How to make it

  • Over medium heat using a 4 quart pot combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, cocoa and salt then bring to a boil. Once mixture is well mixed add the popped corn. Cook and stir until popcorn is coated approximately 2 minutes. Cool mixture and shape into 3" balls.

    Really good. I also didn't use corn syrup, and added melted marshmallow for a little extra. (:

    I just made this.Used hoeny as I had no corn syrup.A really nice treat,especially for those of us that cant eat wheat can still get a treat!

    Chef - this is one of the best recipes ever it looks like the one i remember in our home at christmas back when i was a kid in the 50's.....
    yummmm chocolate popcorn balls the best!
