Thai Red Pork- Moo Dang

- 2 Tblsp of sugar or honey shopping list
- 2 Tblsp of soy sauce shopping list
- 1 Tblsp of salt & pepper shopping list
- 1 - 2 lbs of pork loin or boneless pork shopping list
- 1 tsp of Chinese five-spice powder shopping list
- 3 - 4 drops or Red Color for food (optional) shopping list
- NOTE: 1 tsp of home made garlic and ginger paste can be added too. shopping list
How to make it
- (Preheat Oven to 350F.)
- Cut the pork with the grain into long pieces, 2 inches x 2 inches cross-sectional and any length you like.
- Marinade with the rest of the ingredients for at least half an hour or overnight.
- Bake for 1 hour on a baking tray or a cast iron pan.
- When done, the pork should be reddish, firm and dry but not burned.
- This pork can be grilled as well.
