Planked Salmon With Herb Dressing

- DESSING shopping list
- 1 tbsp fresh lime or lemon shopping list
- 1 tbsp rice vinager shopping list
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard shopping list
- 1 tbsp honey shopping list
- 1 tbsp of minced chives shopping list
- 1/2 kosher salt shopping list
- 1 clove of minced garlic clove shopping list
- fresh ground red pepper corns shopping list
- 1/4 tsp ground cayenee peper shopping list
- 1/8 cup extra virgin olive oil shopping list
- salmon shopping list
- salmon fillet (with skin), 2-1/2 to 3 pounds, about 16 inches long and 3/4 inch thick shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- untreated cedar plank (about 16 inches by 8 inches and at least 3/4 inch thick), submerged in water for at least 1 hour perferrable for longer shopping list
How to make it
- Wisk the dressing ingredients except the oil. Mix until well blended.
- Slowly wish in olive oil until well mixed.
- Season the fish with salt and pepper
- Pour 1/2 the dressing over the salmon evenly
- Place the soaked plank over Direct High heat until the edges start to smoke and char, 5 to 10 minutes. Move the plank over Indirect High heat and place the salmon, skin side down, on the plank. Grill until the salmon is just slightly pink in the center and brown on the edges, 20 to 25 minutes. Transfer the plank and salmon to a heatproof surface.
- Serve warm with remaining dressing
