How to make it

  • Sift flour with baking powder, salt and cocoa; set aside. In medium bowl, beat eggs slightly. Stir in oil, extracts, and sugar until thoroughly combined. With wooden spoon, beat in flour mixture until smooth. Stir in nuts. Refrigerate 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 400* Drop by slightly rounded teaspoonfuls, 2" apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes. Remove to wire rack; cool partially.
  • Make Glaze: In medium bowl, combine sugar and milk; stir until smooth. Spread top of slightly warm cookies with glaze. Sprinkle with nonpareils.

    Hi there butterflybisnotch... Nonpareils are semi-sweet chocolate drops with tops covered with white candy bubbles! They were made by Gourmet Ghirardelli. I haven't enjoyed or even seen them in ages!!!
