Scotch Eggs

A boiled egg covered with sausage meat and breadcrumbs and deep fried, they were invented in england in a bout 1850, they are called scotch eggs because originally they were made with scottish meat
Ingredients
- 4-6 eggs hard boiled and shelled shopping list
- 1 packet of sausage meat shopping list
- golden breadcrumbs shopping list
- 1 beaten egg shopping list
- flour shopping list
- cooking oil shopping list
How to make it
- Hard boil the eggs and shell
- when cool wrap the sausage meat around the eggs to form a ball
- roll these in flour then dip in the beaten egg and then roll in the breadcrumbs
- carefully lower them into a pan of hot oil and deep fry until cooked
- let cool and enjoy
