Pizza Biscotti

- 3 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup oil packed sun dried tomatoes, drained and finely chopped shopping list
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper shopping list
- 3 large eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 2 tablespoons oil oil shopping list
How to make it
- Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl, stirring well.
- Combine 2 eggs, water, oil, stirring well.
- Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
- Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface; divide dough in half.
- Shape each half into a 2 1/2 inch wide log.
- Place logs on a greased baking sheet.
- Beat remaining egg, and brush over log.
- Bake at 359 degrees for 35 minutes; cool to touch.
- With a sharp knife cut logs diaonally into 1/4 inch slices.
- Bake slices at 350 degrees for 20 to 22 more minutes.
- Transfer biscotti to a wire rack; cool completely.
- Makes 2 dozen and will last up to 2 weeks.
