Ingredients

How to make it

  • Mix a small amount of the tamarind juice ( say 1/4 cup ) with a perhaps a Tbs or two of yoghurt.
  • Dressing should be thin and liquidy and still taste sweet and not over powered by the yoghurt
  • Mix together the chickpeas, assorted greens, bell peppers and onions and toss with the dressing.
  • Place on a salad platter
  • One can make and have extra dressing on the side for guests as well as salt and pepper if desired.
  • Nice with soup and Indian bread
