Ingredients

How to make it

  • Snip off end of green beans
  • Place in saucepan and cook about 10 minutes in salted water
  • Drain well
  • In frying pan, melt butter
  • Add onion and over medium heat cook
  • About 10 minutes later, add chopped peppers
  • Continue cooking until onions are soft and browned and peppers are tender
  • Drizzle olive oil over top
  • Add to green beans (drained) back in saucepan
  • Heat thru until all flavors are mixed
  • Add all seasoning now and simmer 5 minutes
  • Note: if too dry, drizzle with a little more olive oil

    This would be nice on the Christmas table with all the displayed colors of the season in the dish.
