Firey Beer Braised Oktoberfest Sausage

- 4 Oktoberfest sausages shopping list
- 1 bottle of beer shopping list
- 2 medium onions shopping list
- 1 Jalepeno pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes shopping list
- 1 cup sauerkraut shopping list
- 1 tbsp veg oil shopping list
- 4 sausage buns shopping list
- Dijon mustard if desired shopping list
How to make it
- Chop onions and jalapenos into slivers.
- Strain the saurkraut into a colander.
- Meanwhile add the oil in a deep skillet and heat on medium high. When oil is hot, add onions and peppers stir to almost carmalized.
- Pour the entire beer into the skillet.
- Add the pepper flakes, sausages and saurkraut and braise, turning the sausages halfway and until the beer is about 1/4 left.
- Serve on a bun with mustard or as is.
