This is for what may be the best treatment of a hot dog ever. I was amazed not to find this anywhere on the web. Ingredients
- 12 All beef hot dogs-we're from the Detroit area, we use Dearborn brand. shopping list
- 1 jar Silver floss sourkraut. shopping list
- 1Lb. sliced bacon shopping list
- 24 Tooth picks. shopping list
- 12 hot dog buns. shopping list
- Yellow prepared mustard. shopping list
How to make it
- Slit hot dogs lengthwise and butterfly.
- Stuff each dog with sourkraut evenly distribute entire can of kraut.
- Wrap each dog with bacon slice and secure at each end with a toothpick.
- Grill until bacon is done, remove toothpicks, serve on bun with copious amount of mustard and a cold beer.
- Watch out for flares due to greese from bacon.
