Stumps Nut Butter Balls

A old style cookie passed down from my grandmother that my children love!
Ingredients
- 1c soft butter shopping list
- 2c sifted flour shopping list
- 1/2tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4-1/2c powdered sugar shopping list
- 2tsp vanilla OR shopping list
- 1tsp almond extract shopping list
- 1-2c finely chopped nuts shopping list
How to make it
- Mix butter with sugar until creamy.
- Add salt, extract, flour, nuts: mix well.
- Chill dough until easy to handle.
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.
- Using fingers, shape dough into 1"balls or 2 " rolls.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 12-15 minutes until light brown.
- While cookies are warm roll them in powdered sugar.
