Ice Cream Pie

This dessert is sure to get lots of comments. Make sure you have blank recipe cards ready as all your guest will surely want this one. I tend to make this more in the summer to help cool those taste buds on those warm summer days.
Ingredients
- 3 c. cornflakes (slightly crushed) shopping list
- 1/2 c honey shopping list
- 1/2 c peanut butter shopping list
- 1/3 c butter shopping list
- 1/2 gal. neopolitan ice cream shopping list
- hot fudge shopping list
How to make it
- melt butter
- add honey and peanut butter
- stir
- pour over crushed cereal
- mix until well coated
- set 1/2 c. mixture aside
- press into sides and bottom of well buttered pie plate
- place in freezer until firm (about 20 min.)
- Filling
- Thaw ice cream
- spread one layer at a time (you can start with any flavor)
- drizzle hot fudge between each layer
- Sprinkle leftover crust mixture on top
- Cover with saran wrap and place back into freezer
- Serve:
- Drizzle hot fudge over top
- You may also use your favorite flavor of ice cream
- Butter Pecan is great with warmed maple syrup drizzled over the top!
