How to make it

  • Place Brisket into casserole foil dish with fat side down. Add Lipton soup package spread evenly over Brisket,
  • Then add the whole bottle of Fargo’s liquid smoke evenly over Brisket. Cover with foil place in oven at 350 degrees
  • Let cook covered for one hour. Start to alternate covered and uncovered in the oven every hour switch and should
  • Be ready to carve in 6 hours.

    The size of bottle is my question also. If you cook the brisket fat side up will more flavor pass into the meat. I see on tv fat side up a lot. Just wondering. JJ

    You make brisket like I do. I wouldn't add a whole bottle of liquid smoke as I have huge bottles. How many ounces of the "smoke" so you use? Maybe I'll try it, too! Thanks for posting your recipe!
