Beginner Level Tandoori Chicken

- 3 whole chicken breasts shopping list
- 1 cup crunchy peanut butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup cilantro shopping list
- 1/2 cup chili sauce shopping list
- 1 tablespooonsalt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tablespoon black pepper (freshly ground) shopping list
- 1/4 cup lemon juice shopping list
- 1/4 cup brown sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Use whole, deboned chicken breasts. Cut each breast, lengthwise into 4 pieces.
- Combine marinade ingredients:
- Peanut butter, cilantro, chili sauce, salt, Cayenne pepper, black pepper, lemon juice and brown sugar. Add the chicken to the marinade and marinate in the refrigerator overnight or up to 2 days.
- Place the chicken pieces in an undulating pattern on 6-8 skewers. You can alternate with green peppers, if you wish.
- Broil or grill for 5 to 6 minutes, turning once.
- Note: Be careful not to overcook the chicken. If you aren't sure, cook one and test it. Then adjust your cooking time, if you need to.
