How to make it

  • In a saucepan, gently cook the onion, garlic, and pepper in the olive oil until the onion has softened (4-6 minutes)
  • Add the chopped tomatoes, and chilli flakes
  • Season with salt and pepper
  • Simmer for 20 minutes until thickened
  • Meanwhile, cook the pasta in salted water until cooked 'al dente'
  • Drain the pasta, and add to the sauce
  • Mix well,
  • Serve with grated parmesan, and garlic bread
