Ingredients
  • 12 oz. blackberries, raspberries, or strawberries
  • 1/4 c. Cognac or Grand Marnier
  • 4 T. sugar
  • sliced pound cake
  • lightly sweetened whipped cream for garnish

Directions
  1. Place the berries in a bowl (hull and slice, if using strawberries). Heat the spritis, pour over the berries, and light with a match. When the flame burns down, stir in the sugar, and macerate for about a half hour. Serve berries over slices of pound cake, with whipped cream mounded on top.
