How to make it
- Prepare Grill
- Season steak to your liking (I used garlic salt and pepper)
- Once grill is ready add steaks and cook to your liking (i turned mine after about 5 mins and cooked another 5))
- heat skillet over med heat add olive oil and 1 tbsp butter
- add garlic and onions being careful not to burn garlic
- prepare bread for grill: lightly spread butter on one side of each slice, then sprinkle garlic powder and a little bit of parsley flakes over buttered side
- You can either grill the bread buttered side down or cook in oven at 350 for about 5 mins (up to you) : )
- Just before you pull the steaks off the grill, place the onion & garlic mixture and the cheese over each steak and allow the cheese to melt, then remove and your ready to eat.
- You can eat this as a sandwich on the french bread or you can have it this way with your choice of sides.
- Enjoy!
